    Microsoft Teams/VOIP Solutions

    A global unified communications company who have partners around the globe distributing their leading products, services and solutions are now looking for a Technical Account Manager, an experienced Cloud VOIP specialist with Microsoft Teams knowledge to join their rapidly expanding business.

    As a Technical Account Manager in Teams, VOIP and cloud solutions you will have a variety or responsibilities relating to platform, vendor interop and customer Sales and support including:

    Providing 3rd line customer support including diagnosing problems, identifying solutions and workarounds, liaise directly with customers, resolving all issues. The role will cover a variety of vendor solutions and customer configurations of these vendor solutions, taking around 35% of your time.

    Consultancy support during onboarding and set up, this will involve liaising with customers to ensure they understand anything technical around integration of the solution to their PBX system c 25% of your time.

    Managing Sales relationships ensuring customers are happy with Solutions suite.

    Working with other members of the technical team at 1st and 2nd line to ensure testing is carried out and approval of specific vendors products and services, c 30% of role.

    New releases and assisting in critical incidents c 10% of role.

    Technical Skills you will have as a VOIP engineer:

    • Expertise in VOIP protocols including SIP and RTP, also UDP, TCP,TLS and DNS
    • troubleshoot advanced SIP interoperability issues between the VOIP services
    • use tools like Wireshank and Homer to analyse traffic.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, direct Routing, configuring SBC’s like audiocodes also basic administration skills including on Linux would be advantageous.

    Also the Technical Account Manager will have:

    • Strong verbal written and verbal communication skills
    • strong rapport building skills
    • ability to multi task and deal with different situations and under pressure.

    Ultimately a good people person with good interpersonal skills happy on the phone, face to face (if applicable) with a strong desire to make customers happy.
